Presidency Approves Special Salary For Teachers, Extend Years Of Service

The President of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has approved a special salary package for Nigerian teachers.
The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu on disclosed this on behalf of the president during the celebration of World Teachers Day, held in Abuja.
He noted that the new increment scheme is to encourage teachers to deliver a first class service for the betterment of the whole country.
He also disclosed that the President has also extend years of service which has been implemented for teachers, adding that the usual thirty five years in service is now extended to be forty years now.
The World Teachers Day has since Oct 5 1994 been inaugurated to celebrate and appreciate impacts teachers are making in the growth of every Country around the Globe.
