The Kogi State Hajj commission has said that pilgrims from kogi state have arrived Muna safely and are getting set for movement to Araffat tomorrow (Saturday).
The Kogi State Amiru-Hajj for the the 2019 Hajj exercise, Alhaji Baba Ango who disclosed this to our correspondent in a telephone conversation, said that adequate welfare arrangements was put in place to ensure the comfort of all the pilgrims.
According to him, transport and other logistics arrangements have been put in place by the commission today ease the movement of Kogi pilgrims to Araffat tomorrow (Saturday)
He noted adequate feeding and comfortable accommodation was also provided for the pilgrims, saying that “I expect a very smooth Araffat tomorrow (Saturday).
The Amiru Hajj prayed for the peace of Nigeria and Kogi State in particular, even as he prayed God to bless, guide and protect the president and Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
Speaking also, the Chairman of the commission, Sheikh Imam Abdullahi enjoyed the pilgrims to follow all the teachings they have received from the various enlightenment programmes in preparation for the hajj exercise.
According to him, “this is one of the blessed months created by Allah. I enjoyed all pilgrims to dedicate themselves to prayers.
“They should pray for our leaders, the president and the Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Yahaya Bello in particular. They should pray for Allah’s protection for him and his family. Allah should direct his administration and the good works he is doing.
“The Governor is God’s sent to the state and in particular to the Muslim Umah. We prayed for Allah’s sustenance for him and to grant him his earnest heart desires in this Holy month.
