“That there was an unpaid Four months salaries due to us as your Appointees was never in doubt. On our own as a Forum, we pleaded with Former Governor Yahaya Bello (FGYB) and he listened to our supplications. He approved the payment of One month salary out of the Four months before he left office on the 27th of January 2024
“To show our appreciation for the payment, we deducted money from the paid salary and invested in some campaign souvenirs to support the candidacy of Ododo-joel Governorship Project 2024. We did this to show that we are not ingrates
“Sir, from all indications, your Excellency is a friend of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and we are pleading with you to help intervene in this matter. This is the era of paying school fees and majority of our members are seriously relying on the money for survival*
“Moreso, October 19th is the Local Government Elections in the state. Payment of our salary will enable us to participate in the Election as we are set to vote for all APC candidates. Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as the Chief-Servant of Kogi State is a worker’s friendly Governor with a listening ear. As you do this for us, God Almighty will continue to bless you and your lovely family with good health at all times, amen.
