Anyigba Community in Kogi East under the leadership of Ogohi Onu Anyigba, Alhaji Abu Shaibu Okolo has paid a thank you visit to former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris on the donation of new Anyigba Central Mosque.
The visit to the Abuja residence of former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris in Asokoro included both islamic scholars, traditional rulers, community leaders and opinion moulders in the community.
In his message,the Ogohi Onu Anyigba says the community and it’s environs were eternally grateful, over the spiritual and selfless jobs being carried out among others by the former Govenor.
He says with the donation of the new mosque, has the tendency for spiritual and moral rejuvenation that is germane in the society.
In his message, the chief imam, Anyigba Community,Ustaz Musa Yahaya asked the former Govenor not to be tired of doing good works at this point of his life,saying there is a lot of reward in embarking on spiritual sojourn.
In his response,former Kogi Governor, Jakadan Sokoto, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris said there is a lot of fulfillment in doing God’s work, saying at every point in his life whenever he embarked and finished a mosque project,he always feel relieved.
He thanked Anyigba Community for the recognition, while urging them to pray for boh Igala land,Kogi and Nigeria at large.
