The executive of the National Association of Northern Nigerian student’s (NANNS), has conferred award of excellence on the Kogi State Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Pharm Dr. Lawal Muhammed in his office in Lokoja.
The award committee Chairman, Comr. Abdulrahman Ibrahim who led the award committee members of the association said the National Association of Northern Nigerian Student’s (NANNS) is the largest student’s movement body in the Northern Nigeria having members both home and in Diaspora.
His words, “considering the strength of the impressive recommendations by the students, youths and public at large, validated by our independent survey which confirmed your contributions to the National development, Educational Development, Moral Development, Youth empowerment, Excellent discipline, National building and Service to humanity, your name has been nominated and adopted during the last executive/legislative meeting of the association without much difficulty for the A-Class award of excellence.
The award was conferred on the Kogi State PSN Chairman in his office on the 13th day of July, 2021.
In his acceptance speech, Dr Lawal Muhammed said his gratitude goes to Allah the Almighty, the leadership and members of National Association Of Northern Nigerian Students for seeing me worthy of this prestigious award.
“I am encouraged to do more in my service to humanity. It is generally agreed that youths are leaders of tomorrow and majority of students are in this category, the Nothern Nigerian Students are in the majority of this critical mass of our dear country’s population.
“I therefore urge you to join forces with the Nigerian government to ensure stability and unity of this great country. SAY NO to insecurity, corruption, ethnic/social unrest and banditiry. Let us seek redress through a legitimate means. Once again, I say thank you and wish you safe journey back to Kaduna” he stated.
