The first list submitted to the House was earlier turned down by the state’s lawmakers after discovering that the members who are supposed to be nonpartisan are all card carrying APC members.
The earlier list sent to the state Assembly for confirmation by the governor had the former Lokoja Administrator, Shiru Lawal, a known APC member as the chairman of the eight man State Independent Electoral Commission.
The governor is expected to swear them in this week at Lugard House Lokoja.
