Kwara state government has demolished the family house of Saraki popularly known as Ile Arugbo situated in Ilorin, Kwara State.
It is gathered that the building was demolished early this morning after the security operatives dispersed protesters including aged women within the complex vicinity.
The government has strategically fix midnight for the demolition to avoid clashes with Saraki’s loyalists who had been keeping night vigil in the area to protest the pulling down of the building.
Recall that the Kwara state Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has announced his decision to revoke the late Olusola Saraki’s property due to illegalities in acquiring the land.
