Kogi Youth Alliance has called on the people of Kogi State to rally round Alhaji Abubakar Idris as the next governor of the state.
The president of the group, comrade Olufemi Temitope made this known in Lokoja on Tuesday after their meeting.
Addressing newsmen along side the secretary of the group, Virginia Ekpa he noted that Abubakar Idris is the best aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party in the forthcoming governorship primary of the party.
According to the group, they have decided to support him because he is a successful businessman in county as of today.
He pointed out that his achievements in private sectors indicated that such person will industrialised the state if given the chance.
The group therefore called on the people of Kogi State to give total support for Alhaji Abubakar Idris so that the state can witnessed development and reposition the state.
“We took the decision to support him in our meeting today and we have all resolved to work for him and also support him.
” If given the chance the era of non payment of salary to workers and pensioners in the state will definitely come to an end,” he promised.
