Kogi Speaker Sympathizes with Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi over the demise of his Father, Pa Timothy Owoniyi

Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Prince) Matthew Kolawole has received the devastating news of the demise of the Father of His Royal Majesty, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi, the Obaro of Kabba and Chairman, Okun Area Traditional Council, Pa Timothy Owoniyi whose death occured in early morning of yesterday in Ile-Ife, Osun state at the age of 85.
The Speaker who sympathized with the Monarch over the demise of his father, noted that it is painful to lose a loved one especially the vessel through which God brought him to the world, stressing that it is a bitter pill to swallow.
He said though he did not have the opportunity to know or interact with him while he was alive but the good account given by others about him showed that he was a great man who trained his children in the way of the Lord, no wonder one of his offsprings is now the Obaro of Kabba and in charge of the entire Okun traditional council.
He urged the family to take solace from the words of God which says there is time to be born and time to died, noting that every mortal at one time or the other, will surly died when the time comes.
It is on this note that the Speaker on behalf of his family, Kabba/Bunu State Constituency, members of the 7th Assembly, management and staff of the Kogi State House of Assembly wish to commiserate with the entire Owoniyi family over the death of their father, grandfather and great grandfather, Pa Timothy Owoniyi.
