Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole has received with grief, the news of the sudden death of our brother, who is currently serving in two capacity as the Protocol Officer and KOSIEC Officer in charge of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Mr Adeyemi Ibishagba whose sudden death occurred yesterday in an accident.
Oh death, oh death, where is your sting, why now, why now,
The Speaker said he is short of words to describe how devastated he was when he received the sad news stressing that it is extremely painful for someone to lose a vabirant and committed officer like him who is obviously the pillar of his family at a critical time as this when his support will be needed most.
He described Mr Adeyemi Ibishagba as an outstanding technocrat, Administrator of repute, philanthropist and community leader who worked tirelessly for the overall development of not only Kabba/Bunu but the entire state.
He said, Mr Adeyemi Ibishagba aka, Protocol was an easy going man who tenaciously worked for the growth of his community, Okunland and humanity noting that it is too early to lose such a wonderful man.
The Speaker said he took solace in the words of God which says, under the sun there is time for everything, a time to be born and time to die, urging his family to uphold his legacy of tolerance, hard work, commitment and truthfulness.
It is on this note that, Rt. Hon. Prince Mathew Kolawole on behalf of his family, Kabba/Bunu State Constituency, entire member of the 7th Assembly, management and staff of the Kogi State House of Assembly wish to commiserate with the immediate family of Mr Ibishagba Adeyemi, Olle-Bunu Community, management and Staff of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Council, Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission over the demise of our brother, Mr Adeyemi Ibishagba, praying that God will grant us the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
