THE Kogi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has kicked against Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on his plan to take another N36billion loan.
According to the PDP in a statement signed issued on Thursday the Director Research and Documentation, Achadu Dickson,
said having mortgaged the state in the last four years, with various loans, lamented the planned attempt to seek further loans.
The PDP disclosed that governor Yahaya Bello having ran state aground financially, said further loans given to him will go into private pocket and kogites now living will suffer 25 years for it re-payment.
The PDP disclosed that it concern is for the coming generation and those yet unborn, explained that Gov. Bello has destroyed the present and future of the state.
The PDP said it is pleading with National Assembly not to approve the loan application as the state government has nothing to show for the loans previously obtained in terms of projects and human capital development.
