LAWNA Territorial Vice Chairman of the Apostolic Church of Nigeria, Pastor Senior Gabriel Uyeh has said that the Church does not have any Governorship candidate in Kogi November 16 governorship election.
Addressing newsmen in Lokoja during 32nd Lokoja Annual Convention of the Church held at The Apostolic Church Nigeria in Lokoja on Sunday, he said that as far as the Church was concerned the Church does not have any Governorship candidate stressing that their prayer is the election is free and fair.
According to the Pastor, the people of Kogi State should fast and pray to avoid crisis during the election.
He urged all the interested parties in the coming election to conduct themselves very well to avoid any negative implication during the election.
He also called on the Governorship candidate of all the political parties contesting not to do anything that will affect the outcome of the election saying violence does not help adding that the electorates should vote whoever they want.
On the convention, he said it was an annual event that all members of the Church from every part of the country will come togather to celebrate.
