The Kogi State government has called on young people in the state to engage themselves productively for their individual benefit and the common good.
The Chief Of Staff to the Governor, Abdulkareem Jamiu who gave the advice while receiving some youth groups in his office said the state government will continue to do everything possible to provide jobs and a conducive environment for small and medium scale businesses to thrive.
He however warned that government will not tolerate acts capable of disrupting the peace presently being enjoyed across the state.
He also cautioned them against cultism and drug trafficking and abuse.
Jamiu said government will work in synergy with all law enforcement agents in the state to flush out crime and its perpetrators.
He said the federal and state governments are coming out with a new and wide range of empowerment programmes which he urged the youths to take advantage of
