Suspected Fulani men on Tuesday morning blocked the road along Iboko-Ejule in Kogi State and kidnapped a woman and her two children.
The father of the children Mr. Chukwuma Anyanwu while narrating the incident, said the armed men blocked the road at about 4:am, on Tuesday and forcefully stopped their vehicle that was coming from Abuja, took his wife and two children away.
Anyanwu who said he was taken his family to his village having lost his job, added that the criminals also took their telephones away.
He also added that the criminals that attacked them speak Hausa and Fulani languages.
Mr. Sunday Idenyi, a witness, said driver of the vehicle lost control when he wanted to run away and had the car ran into the bush.
Kogi state has recorded cases of kidnapping with Okene and Abuja roads having the most incidents.
