Idris Congratulates New PDP National Chairman, Senator Dr Iyorchia Ayu.

Former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has congratulated the newly elected National Chairman,People’s Democratic Party PDP, Senator Dr Iyorchia Ayu.
A statement signed by the former Governor commended the PDP family and their determination to retake governance in Nigeria to ensure a virile society.
He described Dr Ayu as a symbol of political evolution,as the success recorded at the just concluded national convention was a pointer to the clamour by Nigerians, for the return of PDP to the leadership of Nigeria.
In Dr Ayu,Alhaji Ibrahim Idris said,the PDP will take Nigeria back to the promise land, inline with the expectations of ordinary citizens.
The former Governor maintained that the new PDP Chairman was a tested and a trusted personalty,whose experience both in government and lawmaking will assist greatly in the management of the most grassroot political party in West Africa.
He urged PDP members to maintain the already existing harmony at levels,to salvage Nigeria from further sliding into economic backwardness.
