The Founder of Afe Babalola University, Aare Afe Babalola, (SAN) said he strongly believe the youths, if fully supported would change the narratives positively in governance.
Babalola, who hosted the Deputy Majority Leader and member representing Ankpa 1 constituency, Hon. Ahmed Mohammed in his office said he couldn’t believe the negative news about Kogi State all the time.
He said Kogi State is by far the wealthiest state in Nigeria because there are blessed with lots of resources and he’s hoping that the present government tap into this opportunity.
He condemned totally the use of media houses to discredit a government and urge the governor to share the vision and dream of greater Kogi so that it can compete with other States.
He also called on the government of Kogi State to partner with his Multi-System hospital which has enough equipment to prepare medical students, be used as a referral centre and provide the best medical services
Hon. Ahmed in his response described the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello as a leader, poised to make a mark on the sand of leadership history in Kogi State; a leader who is humble enough to feel the pulse of the people.
He said with his experience in financial management and his iron-cast dispositions towards zero-metre to corruption, Kogi is surely on the path of economic prosperity, good governance and transparent leadership.
“From the first day I met him, I saw in his eyes, the colours of change and a New Direction. I believe he will drive the state into the nucleus of the nation’s development”. We are hoping to tap from your wealth of experience, as a humble, strong and as a man resolutely committed to the unity of the state”.
The real eye propper during the visit, was the ABUAD Multi-System Hospital. It was gratifying with state of the art equipments, a world-class referral centre that patients do not have to travel out of the country to get the best diagnosis.
The Multi-System hospital is designed to handle special and complex health issues that might have required travelling abroad.
