How Proposed Announcement Of Al-makura By Buhari May Help Tinubu’s Presidential Ambition

The Proposed Announcement of the Former Governor of Nassarawa State, Tanko Al-makura as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, by President Muhammadu Buhari, may help Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to achieve his Presidential Ambition, as candidate of the Party in 2023.
It was reliably gathered from competent sources, within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), have told Saturday telegraph that President Muhammadu Buhari, has settled for the choice of the former Governor of Nassarawa State, Tanko Al-makura, as the New National Chairman of the Party.
It should be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari, was a Known ally of Al-makura, who was firstly elected as Governor of the State in 2011, under the Platform of the Defunct Congress for Progressives Change (CPC) and was consequently re-elected four years later on the Platform of the then newly formed APC.
However, Tanko’s Proposed Announcement as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC by President Muhammadu Buhari, may give edge to the former Governor of Lagos State and the National Leader of the Party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
It should be recalled that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, had declared his Presidential Ambition, to contest Presidential race under the Platform of the Party.
It gathered that Tinubu is also supporting Al-makura, to emerge as National Chairman of the Party. Meanwhile, It was also gathered that APC Governors have settled for Senator Muhammad Sani, to become the National Chairman of the Party.
Meanwhile, Senator Muhammad Sani is the Senator representing Niger South Senatorial District at the National Assembly.
Though, it had earlier been reported, that some APC Governors, are seriously working against the Presidential Ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the only weapon they can use against him, is the executives of the Party.
 
However, If Al-makura, which many People believe that, he happens to be Tinubu’s Candidate for the Position of National Chairman of the Party get the support of President Muhammadu Buhari, Tinubu may not find it difficult to clinch the Presidential ticket of the Party.
It should be recalled that some Governors had declared their interest to contest Presidential race under the Platform of the APC. Among the APC Governors, who had declared their interest to contest Presidential race under the Platform of the Party, are Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State and Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State.
 
Meanwhile, Governor Bello’s declaration to contest Presidential race in APC, may frustrate the Presidential Ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, but if Tinubu’s Candidate can get the support of President Muhammadu Buhari, he may not find it difficult to clinch the Presidential ticket of the Party.
