Hajia Zuwaira Gambo Lauds Partnership With UNFPA,KOICA,RHHF For Given Hope To Borno Fistula Survivors.

Commissioner For Women Affairs and Social Developement in Borno state, Honourable Zuwaira Gambo says the partnership between the state government and Developement partners had impacted positviely on the lives or the vulnerable women in the state.
Hajiya Gambo bares her mind during the empowerment program for survivors of fistula cases numbering over 100 in Borno State.
She says the laudable partnership that brought about life fulfillment on the part of distress women, is the best thing that will happen to fistula victims in Borno state.
Honourable Zuwaira Gambo avered that the positive developement is tantamount to given hope to the hopeless as well making them responsible citizens both to themselves, Community and the state at Large.
She says the collaborative efforts of UNFPA,KOICA and RHHF through the process of training,equiping and provision of capital to survivors of women with fistula cases in the state, was an encouragement that all hope was not lost,for so many women in that category.
She thanked the state government under the leadership of Governor Babagana Umara Zulum,donor agencies whose decision to use the state as spring board for all it’s life touching activities to sustain the momentum,while urging the women to utilize maximally the items provided.
Hajiya Zuwaira Gambo reiterated her commitement to the welfare of Borno women,saying the doors of the state government is widely open for such positive gesture.
