THE Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has flagged off the Adumu-Ogugu erosion control in Ogugu today, According to the contractor, the erosion control project is expected to be completed in 12 months.
Governor Bello also inspected the 95% completed Ibana-Okpo-Ikeje-Emonyoku-Odidoko-Agugu-Ette Road in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State. Work on the road project which cut across 7 communities in the area is at the last community today.
While inspecting the road, Governpr Bello expressed joy for the quality of job done so far and noted that the project will be completed within the contractual agreement period.
Speaking on behalf of the community, the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Edward Onoja thanked the governor for his developmental stride in Kogi State in General and Kogi East in particular noting, the people of the areas will observe the principle of reciprocity in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
