A goat with a human-like face has left villagers in India gobsmacked as they flock to see the strange animal.
The odd-looking offspring, born on a farm in the village of Nuav near Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, has become a local sensation and the farmer, named Lalchand, revealed that the baby goat can’t drink its mother’s milk and needs to be bottle-fed.

The little goat is so weak it can’t stand up by itself, and a young girl has to support it. In another clip, the goat is seen bleating as its mum nudges its floppy legs with her nose.

Vets reckon the goat’s strange appearance is down to a calcium deficiency, which caused its head to form in an unusual shape. They think the chances of the animal surviving are slim.
Despite this, curious locals have been visiting Lalchand’s farm to get a glimpse of the mutant animal. Many reckon the baby goat looks like it has a human face.
It is not the first time something like this has happened in India. In 2020 the Daily Star reported how one such mutant goat was being ‘worshipped as an avatar of God’.

That goat was born in Rajasthan, India, and gained celebrity status because of its hauntingly human-like face.
And in November 2022 a goat with two large eyeballs fused together, coming together in the middle of its forehead, was born in Sultanpur, India.
And in August 2022, news broke of a double-headed kitten born in Arkansas, USA.
The two-faced little fella was named Harvey after the two-faced Harvey Dent in the movie Batman: The Dark Knight.
