The Reactor of The Federal Polytechnic, Idah. Dr. Y. B. Usman has inspired the graduating students of Polytechnic Secondary School, Idah to action.
The Public Relations and Protocol of the institution, Ikpoma Theresa Uloko stated in a press statement that the Rector gave the inspiration during the 17th Annual Graduation, Speech/Prize-Giving Ceremony held on 30th July, 2024, at the school premises. In his address, “Never to forget the values they have learned”
He reminded them that Integrity, Perseverance, Resilience, and Empathy are the cornerstones of success.
The Rector who was represented by the Deputy Rector Academics , Associate Professor Muhammed Ikagu Yusufu, stressed that education is a privilege, and with this privilege,comes the responsibility to make a positive impact on the world.
He urged the students to use their knowledge and skills to become the architects of their own future and catalysts for change.
Speaking further, he emphasized that success is not just about academic achievements or awards, but about personal growth and making a difference in the lives of others.
He encouraged them to embrace new changes, seek knowledge with an open mind, and never stop growing. “You hold the power to make a difference in the world ” he noted.
The Rector’s massage resonated in their minds as they starts the next stage of their lives.
“Learning is a lifelong journey, and as you embark on this journey, never lose sight of the values that have shaped you, and never stop striving for greatness ” he concluded.
