The Former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Kogi State,
Hon. Ugbede Paul Ebije and member of the All Progressives Congress(APC), chieftain has congratulated Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo and his Deputy Elder Joel Oyibo on his affirmation as the duly elected Governor and Deputy Governor of Kogi State by the Election Petitions Tribunal.
Hon Ugbede expressed his joy and satisfaction with the tribunal’s decision, which he described as a victory for democracy and the rule of law.
“ The good people of Kogi State are happy and celebrating this historic moment,” Ugbede said. “The tribunal’s ruling has vindicated the will of the people, who overwhelmingly voted for Alhaji Ododo and Elder Joel in the November 2023 governorship election.”
Ugbede commended Gov. Ododo for his resilience and determination throughout the legal process. He also urged the Governor to continue to work tirelessly for the progress and development of Kogi State.
“With no doubt Alhaji Ododo and Elder Joel will lead Kogi State to greater heights,” Hon Ugbede said. “Gov Ododo is a visionary leader with a passion for service, and I am confident that he will deliver on his promises to the people of the state.”
He also urged all opposition parties at the tribunal to shed there sword and join hands with the Governor and the Administration to move the state forward, politics is over, and it’s time for governance.
Hon Ugbede called on all Kogites to support Gov Ododo’s administration and work together to build a better future for the state.
