Commercial Banks shutdown operations in Kabba after attack on prison.

All banks in Kabba have been shutdown as a result of gunmen invation at Kabba prison on Monday morninf.
Most of the banks did not open for normally service due to fear of been attack by the gunmen.
Some unknown gunmen killed over 4 solders and released over 244 hundred inmate from the prison.
As as result of fear of what might happen after the incident, the commercial banks in Kabba town could not open their offices for business.
The closure of banks consequently affected other business activities and caused a lot of breakdown in the economic activities in Kabba today.
The people of Kabba town and the environs who bank in Kabba are already lamenting the negative effects this attack might cause because they do not know how long it will take the commercial banks to reopen and resume business as usual.
For the residents of two other local government area in Kogi State use the commercial banks in Kabba since the commercial banks in their communities have long been closed down as a result of incessant attack on them by armed robbers.
The present state of insecurity in the country is really causing economy setback for Nigerians and the country at large. We need urgent solution to this problem.
Meanwhile the security agencies have taken total and full control of the prison and Kabba town to avoid any further attack.
