THE coalition of Political Parties under the umbrella of interparty advisory council have called on the Kogi State governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello for all inclusive governance.
The group also endorsed the candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) Alh. Yahaya Bello in the 2019 Governorship election.
The group in a press statement issued by the former Chairman Interparty adversary council, Ibrahim Itodo said they are proud to be in the winning team especially that his governor has not disappointed them due to his proactive statements and steps taken to run an open door policy direction to quickly correct the weaknesses of the past.
“We are solidly in support of this administration to equally participate actively in proffering solutions for good governance.
“Some of the steps taken that attrack them early include human and capital development, by setting up 17 men able committee to look at the modalities of the payment of 30,000 minimum wage approved by the federal Government.
“Zero tolerance for cultism for both lecturers and students to produce distinguished personnel to take over leadership in the future.
“Zero tolerance for corruption, especially for those Opportuned to be part and parcel of this administration; this was exemplified by suspending those found wanting recently in some Government agencies of this administration as clear signals that the Government meant business
and his unequivocal pronouncement to complete all on going projects, and those inherited from the past administration.
“Your Excellency, inspite of the loudable steps taken, the coalition of political parties under Inter party advisory council, want to remind you that the area of All-inclusive and participatory governance is yet to be taken into consideration, we promised to join you as the peoples governor to Govern Kogites together in terms of contributing our quota to your administration
“As you take careful steps in forming the arms of this government in all strata, remember those who have solidly contributed quality time and sacrifice to making the 2019 general election successful. We are confident that you will be magnanimous in victory by extending your hand of fellowship to political parties.
“In view of the above, we are using this channel to call on all kogites to embrace this government of Alhaji. Yahaya Bello of APC to transform the state. We reassure our continuous support to this administration,” the statement added.
