The Paramount ruler of Ebira land, the Ohinoyi of Ebira land, Alhaji Dr. Ado Ibrahim died at the age of 95 years after a brief illness.
Tribuneonline on Sunday reliably gathered that the he has been sick for times and was been attended to at a private hospital in Abuja.
According to source, the Paramount ruler gave up the ghost early hour on Sunday morning.
He remains is expected to be brought home Okene for burial today according to Muslim rite.
He was born February 7, 1929, and is the fourth traditional ruler and current Ohinoyi of Ebiraland a traditional state with headquarters in Okene, Kogi State.
He attended both western nursery and Quranic schools, and went on to conclude his primary education in 1940 at the Native Authority (NA) primary school in Okene, Northern Region (now Kogi State).
He, began his secondary school education at Ondo Boys High School and later on moved to Oduduwa College, where he graduated in 1949.
In 1954, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and a master’s degree from Harvard Business School in 1959.
He was coronated in 1997 as the Ohinoyi of Ebira land by the then the governor of Kogi State, late Prince Abubakar Audu ad he took over from the his predecessor Alhaji
Sanni Omolori who reigned between 1957 and 1997.
