Former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has congratulated former Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiku Ohere, on his 60th birthday, describing him as an accomplished public servant whose contributions have positively shaped Kogi State and Nigeria.
In a goodwill message issued on Sunday by his Media Director, Michael Ohiare, Bello said Ohere’s diamond jubilee marks a significant milestone in a life dedicated to leadership, integrity and selfless service.
The former governor commended Ohere’s track record in public office, noting that he served with distinction as a grassroots politician, administrator, commissioner and senator. He added that the former lawmaker’s contributions to governance, infrastructure development and the overall growth of Kogi State remain commendable.
According to Bello, Ohere has consistently demonstrated commitment to the welfare of the people and earned widespread respect through his diligence, honesty and passion for public service.
“At 60, Alhaji Abubakar Ohere has every reason to thank Almighty Allah for a life of purpose, sacrifice and unwavering service to humanity. His commitment to the progress of Kogi State and Nigeria has earned him the admiration of colleagues, associates and the people he has served,” the statement read.
Bello further described the former senator as a dependable ally, seasoned statesman and experienced leader whose wisdom and dedication to nation-building continue to inspire emerging leaders across the country.
He prayed for Allah to grant Ohere many more years of good health, wisdom and strength to continue contributing to the development of Kogi State and Nigeria.
The former governor also wished the celebrant a joyous 60th birthday and many more years of impactful service to humanity.
