Ambassador Chief Hassiat Ozavize Suleiman, Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Strategic Investment and Liaison with Federal Agencies, has been appointed Woman Patroness for the North-Central zone of Team Tinubu 2027, a political support group mobilising backing for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Her appointment was conveyed in an official letter signed by Bishop Stephen Adegbite, Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission, Chaplain of Aso Villa, and National Grand Patron of the group.
Team Tinubu 2027 is one of several emerging support platforms working to galvanise grassroots backing for President Tinubu’s anticipated re-election bid.
The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is reported to serve as the National Grand Patroness of the organisation.
While presenting the appointment letter, Adegbite praised Suleiman’s credentials, noting that her selection was based on her proven capacity in human management, women empowerment, and grassroots mobilisation.
In her new role, Suleiman is expected to spearhead mobilisation efforts among women across the North-Central geopolitical zone, strengthen support structures for the All Progressives Congress (APC), and promote the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda. She is also expected to provide strategic guidance to the group, participate in key engagements, and support awareness campaigns.
Responding, Suleiman expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in her, describing the appointment as a call to higher service. She pledged to deploy her experience and commitment to advance the organisation’s objectives and deliver on its mandate.
Suleiman is widely recognised for her contributions to women empowerment, youth development, and community mobilisation. In 2015, her group, Harbingers of Change for Good Governance, played a key role in mobilising support for the late President Muhammadu Buhari and his wife, Aisha Buhari, across the Federal Capital Territory and Kogi State.
The group, known as the “Aisha Buhari Volunteer Workers,” received official commendation from the former President.
She also played an active role in President Tinubu’s 2023 campaign, coordinating and participating in multiple support groups that contributed to his electoral victory.
Her latest appointment comes amid growing political activities and early grassroots consultations by support groups positioning for the 2027 general elections.
