The leadership and members of Team Yomikola in Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency have unanimously passed a strong vote of confidence on the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the immediate past Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello, describing their relationship as cordial, strategic, and built on continuity of good governance.
Team Yomikola notes that the seamless transition and stable administration currently enjoyed in Kogi State are clear products of the mutual understanding, trust, and shared vision between Governor Ododo and former Governor Yahaya Bello.

Their relationship remains solid, progressive, and focused on the development of Kogi State, contrary to the false narratives being peddled by mischief makers.
The group also strongly condemns the ongoing attempts by some individuals to label, blackmail, and malign the person of the former Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Matthew Olusola Kolawole.
Team Yomikola warns that such devilish and desperate acts must stop immediately, as they are driven by envy and fear of genuine grassroots strength.
Rt. Hon. Matthew Olusola Kolawole remains a respected leader with proven grassroots credibility across Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency. His political relevance is built on years of service, loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), and consistent mobilization at the polling unit level. Any attempt to tarnish his image will not only fail but will further expose the desperation of those behind it.
Team Yomikola reaffirms its total loyalty and support to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and assures him that with Team Yomikola firmly rooted in Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, the APC is guaranteed strong political stability, unity, and meaningful electoral success in the constituency.
The group calls on all APC stakeholders to remain focused, avoid distractions, and channel their energy toward supporting the present administration and strengthening the party at the grassroots for the collective progress of Kogi State.
