About 300 people in Ifeolukotun and its environs have benefited from a free Medical outreach organized by the Secretary to Kogi State Government.

The free Medical outreach was organized by the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State through her Non Governmental Organization, Folashade Ayoade Initiative for Widows and Orphans (FAIWO) to meet the health needs of the people of her immediate Community at this critical moment of economic difficulties.

The Coordinator of the Medical Programme, Comrade Samuel Obajemu in an interview said the programme witnessed a large turnout of people of Ifeolukotun and its environs, saying the SGS has promised to sustain the treatment for the wellbeing of the people.

According to him the treatment was part of the genuine love for the people for Ifeolukotun, assuring that the outreach will be sustained to other Communities in no distant time.

He commended the SGS for sponsoring the programme, describing her as a blessing to the government and people of Kogi State.

Comrade Obajemu noted that ailments attended to are, typhoid, malaria, high blood pressure, diabetes among other, adding that children were also attended to.

The Olukotun of Ife Olukotun, Oba Shuaibu Mohammed described the treatment as timely and a step in the right direction and expressed gratitude to the SGS.
