Politics comes with interest but what is paramount in it is development, unity and peaceful coexistence amongst the people.
This were the words of Kogi State APC Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello, who commended the efforts of GYB Frontiers, headed by Alhaji Mohammed Hans, in taking the front stage in this regard for peaceful conduct of election and support for Gov. Yahaya Bello’s second term.
The State APC Chairman made the statement when he received in audience GYB Frontier, said “GYB Frontiers is moving in the right direction”. He tasked the members not to relent in their efforts assured the group of his maximum support until victory is attained.
The APC State Chairman described Gov. Yahaya Bello’s administration as one that came to right the wrong, expressed confidence that another term, Kogi state would have new songs to speak in positive direction.
The GYB Frontiers who had earlier met His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Ado Ibrahim, the Ohinoyi of Ebira land to seek for his Royal blessings and elderly advice on how to go about their Mission and Vision, thanked him for his support and prayers.
The Traditional ruler,  advised the group not to be distracted in their efforts. He said that development can only be attained if there is peace in the land appeal for peace before, during and after the forthcoming November governorship election.
Within a period of days that the group began its advocacy to drum support for Gov. Bello, the group have been able to reach all the stakeholders within the Central Senatorial district of Kogi State.
Alhaji Mohammed Hans, the leader of the self sponsored group expressed his happiness while meeting the APC state Chairman, assured him that he will not stop to lead in the Crusade for peace until victory is attained for Gov. Bello, in the forthcoming November governorship election.
He also disclosed that GYB Frontiers has also penetrated both Kogi East and West as the the group has its members across the state, assuring that another term for Gov. Bello would open up the state to more opportunities.
The Chairman also led his team of GYB Frontiers to the DG Protocols, Hon Abdulkarim Asuku, commended the steadfast support of Hon. Asuku, urged him not to relent until victory is won by the APC in the November governorship election.
The spokesman of GYB Frontiers, Alhaji Abubakar Yusuf who led in the presentation, said that their visit is to formally register their presence with government and to compliment what the government appointees have done in their own little ways.
According to him, ” Our paramount message  is reconciliation for peace and unity, we must ensure that this election is violent free for us to achieve the task before us”.
In his response, the DG protocols described the members of GYB Frontiers as people of high integrity and urged them to continue to do more in the area of reconciliation for peace and unity which is the core value of this group.
He advised the group to take their assignment seriously, and should put their eyes on the ball and should not be allowed to be distracted in anyway.
The GYB Frontiers also visited the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly and Hon. Commissioner for Finance, Asiwaju Idris Asiru.
The GYB Frontiers equally paid courtesy call to Hon. Kabiru ( SSA Domestic), and Hon, Abdullateef (PA to the Governor).
All the people visited welcome the group and advice the group respectively to stay with the vision of supporting Gov. Yahaya Bello and a peaceful conduct of the election.
The GYB Frontiers was led on the visit by its Chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Hans, also in his entourage are Alhaji Abubakar Yusuf, Abdulrahman Alli, Adams Terry, Abdullateef Onusi, Musa mechero, Adams onota, Bashir Abubakar, Engr Muhammed Tas, and Sunday Alabi.
Hon Abdulmajeed Hassan representing Kogi East and Hon Bilkis Shuaib Tatu also representing Kogi West were also is in the entourage.
