Alhaji Ali Bello, the newly appointed Chief of Staff, can be likened to Maecenas of Ancient Rome in his dedication and behind-the-scenes work during the government of the former Governor Yahaya Bello.

The Medevial Age saw Maecenas of Rome, born Gaius Cilnius Maecenas in 70 BC, a prominent figure in the reign of Augustus, the first Roman Emperor.

While not seeking the limelight himself, Maecenas played a crucial role in shaping the political and cultural landscape of Rome during this transformative period.

Maecenas was a close friend and advisor to Augustus, and his loyalty and astute judgment made him an invaluable asset to the Emperor. Maecenas also played a crucial role in maintaining stability within the empire.

He used his influence to mediate conflicts between various factions and ensure that the interests of Augustus were protected. His diplomatic skills and ability to forge alliances helped maintain the peace and unity that Augustus sought to establish throughout the Roman Empire.

Despite his immense contributions, Maecenas remained modest and humble. He never sought recognition, preferring to work quietly and diligently behind the scenes. His selflessness and dedication to the success of Augustus’ reign made him a trusted confidant and advisor.

Just like Maecenas, who played a crucial role in ensuring the prosperity and stability of Rome, Alhaji Ali Bello commonly known as “Atimpo” worked tirelessly to achieve same for Kogi State. During his time as a “behind the scene” figure in the previous administration, Alhaji Bello exhibited qualities of humility, diligence, and dedication.

He was known for his unwavering commitment to the development of Kogi State, always working diligently behind the scenes to ensure that the government succeed in her dealings.

Alhaji Bello’s past records serve as a strong basis for believing that he will surpass his previous feats in his new role as Chief of Staff to the present Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo.

His experience and understanding of the inner workings of the government, coupled with his proven track record, make him well-equipped to handle the challenges and responsibilities that come with the position.

His selflessness and commitment to his leaders’ success make him a trusted advisor and confidant
Furthermore, Alhaji Bello’s humility and dedication will undoubtedly continue to drive him to work tirelessly for the betterment of Kogi State.

His ability to work behind the scenes and effectively collaborate with other government officials will be instrumental in achieving the goals and objectives set forth by the new Governor.
Wishing him well in his Office.
