A Member representing Igalamela/Odolu Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Bar. Cosmas Ilemona Atabor has commended the candidate of the All Progressives Congress and Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on the choice of the current Chief of Staff to the governor, Chief Edward David Onoja as running mate for the November 16 governorship election in the state.
The Igalamela-Odolu lawmaker in a press statement issued on Tuesday described Chief Edward Onoja as “a man of impeccable character, integrity, wisdom, experience, loyalty and total dedication to the success of the New Direction Agenda of Alhaji Yahaya Bello”.
Bar. Atabor also thanked the leadership of the APC for unanimously accepting the nomination of Chief Onoja; adding that “there is nobody currently more suitable, deserving and dependable for the job than Chief Onoja.
“Chief Onoja, in his capacity as Chief of Staff to His Excellency has proved to be an invaluable asset to the people of the state, especially the youths.
“He has demonstrated strong leadership qualities and admirable charisma which has drawn a lot of support from the masses and has given our great party a more formidable structure to consolidate on the numerous gains of the current administration”.
Bar. Atabor called on all the members of the APC across the state to massively support Alhaji Yahaya Bello and Chief Edward Onoja “for rapid development of the state”.
He assured the governor and his running mate of his total commitment and those of the people of his constituency towards ensuring that the APC emerges victorious in the November 16 Kogi State governorship election.
