The Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District in Kogi state, Senator Smart Adeyemi has released the sum of N15million Naira for the completion of a township stadium in Kabba, Kogi state and another N5million to support construction of Obaro of Kabba Palace.
The lawmaker made this know during the 2022 Kabba Day on Saturday.
Senator Adeyemi reiterated his avowed commitment to the overall progress and development of the people.
The modern stadium is one of Senator Adeyemi’s legacy projects in Kogi West and the facility had since become venue for top political and social event.
However, Adeyemi said he is committed to the completion of the project and utilization for sports and youth development.
The ranking lawmaker also announced a donation of N5million to support the construction of an ultra modern palace for Obaro of Kabba.
Senator Adeyemi was represented at the event by Hon Taiwo Nathaniel, a former House of Assembly member and Local Government Chairman of Kabba Bunu; Hon Kayode Olorunmotito, former Kabba Student Union National President and Hon Dapo Olutekunbi.
