Individuals and cooperate organizations have been urged to partner with Chimaya Foundation to enable it execute humanitarian gestures to the less privileged all over the world.
Founder of the Foundation, Mr Chimaya Dash made the appeal through a telephone conversation.
He said the organization which was established on the 17th of May 2011 has the principal objective of ameliorating the suffering of the poor and vulnerable in the society.
According to him, the organization in a bid to create awareness and reduce the spread of COVID-19 in India, distributed Corona Awareness Kits in Rajkanika and Aul block of Kenorapada District as well as various villages of Binjharpur and Dasarathpur block of Jaspur District.
He disclosed that the Corona Awareness Kits contain face masks, soaps, sanitizers, bleaching powder and other household consumables to make life better for the citizens and has continued for the past nine hundred and thirty days.
Mr Dash expressed appreciation to volunteers including Shreekshetra Sahoo, Rakesh Kumar Jena, Master Mihir Kumar and others who personally sacrifice their time and energy for the distributions of the relieve materials to the communities in its one hundred and thirty three weekly program.
On his mission in Africa, particularly Nigeria, Mr Dash said his Foundation is currently embarking on humanitarian activities in Imo state where the poor and needy are being reached out to.
He said he would represent India at the upcoming International Simulation Conference which would concurrently take place in Dubai, Egypt and Malaysia in December this year and between January and May next year.
He maintained that his Foundation was conceived in a remote village of Balbalpur in India where it is noted for its unique identity in all over the world in the field of social services and cultural awakening.
