In a statement by the Public Relations Unit CUSTECH, Osara described the incident as sad and most devastating..
Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku said, “We all know that death is inevitable as all mortals must surely bow to it someday, but losing a wife to the cold hands of death at the age of 50 is a most traumatising experience for anyone no matter how resilient.”
The Vice Chancellor however counseled the Speaker to seek courage and faith in God Almighty as He is the only one who giveth and taketh life whenever He so desire.
He added, “this is no doubt the most trying moments for the Speaker and his entire family members. Tears of agony will surely flow and many rhetorical questions will be coming from the mouths of many asking God why He allowed our mother/wife to be snatched away from us so painfully by death.”
Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku prayed that God Almighty would comfort the grieving Speaker and his family by giving them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
