Igbo Community Association in Kogi State has honoured the Chairman of Sea Care Foundation and a Frontline APC leader in Ajaokuta Local Government Area, Sanni Abdulraheem with a prestigious award of Excellence.
According to the Igbo Community, the award was in recognition of Hon. Abdulraheem’s ” Service to Humanity, Leadership Quality, Epitome Of Development and a Political ICON.”
The award ceremony which took place at the Lokoja international Stadium, was described by the awardees as a moment of great Joy and fulfillment.
Responding to this prestigious Award, Sanni Abdulraheem, said he has dedicated the award to Governor Yahaya Bello, who he said gave him the platform to be able to reach out to the people at the grassroot.
He further explained that the Igbo Community in lokoja has contributed immensely to the development of Kogi state and GYB’s New Direction Government.
He maintained that as a friend of the Igbo Community, he will continue to join hands with them to continue to work for the overall success of the Governor Yahaya Bello’s programmes and policies and for the success of the All progressives Congress, APC.
Other recipients include the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello, former Kogi Governor, Alh. Ibrahim Idris, the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Edward Onoja.
Others are GYB’s Director Research and Development, Barr. Moses Okezie, the Hon Rep Member, Kogi/Lokoja Fed. Constituency, Barr. Shaba Ibrahim, Senator Chris Adihighe, Chancellor, Fed. University, Lokoja and 42 others.
