Former Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has congratulated the new paramount ruler of Igala kingdom, HRM Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa 11 on his successful beading and installation.
The former kogi Govenor in a statement prayed that the new Attah igala will usher in more peaceful co-existence,progress and developement of Igala kingdom.
He commmeded the people for containing both the turbulent and ressolutions arising from the emergence of the new ruler, stating that it showed the level of cooperation and brotherhood that existed among the race.
Jakadan Sokoto noted the stool is very significant to the socio-cultural, economic and political developement of Igala kingdom in all ramifications.
He prayed that his reign will herald another vista of progress and developement to the Igala land and Nigeria at large.
He described the highly revered stool as important as the race,saying his subjects should rally round him to ensure the continuous protection of the cultural heritage of the igala kingdom.
