The former governor of Kogi State, Chief Clarence Olafemi has commiserates with the Senator representing Kogi west at the National Assembly, Sen. Dino Melaye on death of his mother.
In a statement issued on Friday, Chief Olafemi a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kogi state said her death was a big blow to the people of the state.
He mentioned that the people of the state will miss late Deaconess Comfort Melaye greatly because of her love and care for the people of her community when she was alive.
Chief Olafemi therefore urged the entire Melaye family to take solace in the legacies left behind, says her good works as a philanthropist, a community leader, who impacted positively on the lives of other women, would be greatly remembered.
He prayed God to grant the Melaye family the fortitude to bear the great loss, and the ability to continue from where their mother stopped from.
