A 14 year old Lawrence Ayomilere, an Indigene of Lagos State has sent a save our soul message to Gov. Sanwo Olu of Lagos State.
The brilliant Lawrence is begging Gov. Sanwo Olu to pay his school fees, promised to pay back the money in due course
” Please help me to pay the school fees. I promise to make Governor Sanwo-Olu and Lagos State, and Nigerians proud. I’m 14 years old and finished my JSS 3 with flying colours, 9 Distinctions in Lagos State Examination Board 2020 basic Education Certificate Examination”.
” Due to covid 19 pandemic, my father and mother lost all their businesses. They couldn’t pay my school fees making me to stay at home. I promise to pay back any money spends in furthering my secondary school education.
” I believe before I finish
school, my dad would have gotten a good job to continue paying my university fees because I’m proud of my father. Presently my father stays indoors now because of shame. All his friends have abandoned him. They all said covid 19 has also affected them too that they are all managing.
” I was sleeping and God spoke to me not to give up on my dreams on what I want to become in future.
I saw an old newspaper where I saw the Governor of Ogun and Delta States giving poor people
scholarship.
” took the paper and showed my father about it but he snubbed me saying we cannot even see local government chairman not to talk of Governor, more so we are from Lagos State, not Ogun and Delta States.” He bemoaned.
According to the young boy he cried and Cried even when the mother begged him and assured him that they are children of the most high God.
Lawrence who amidst sobbing narrated how it all started, that after covid 19 School Resumption his Father called his four kids that only his elder sister that is 16 years will go to school that the rest of them should be praying for God to provide money for school fees.
” My mum told my father to apply for Covid19 household loan, which my father said we should not believe all that pointing out that it is man know man, that only the rich gets it not for poor people.
“We forced our daddy to apply which he did in so many programs since last year but up till now nothing has happened. Every day my father gets angry because of no job.
“I m a brilliant boy; I was learning how to repair Generator, am also very good at drawing, am even the person repairing our faulty sockets and extension wires at home
“The remaining three of us have been home for over one year plus now. I want him to reach me on Lawrenceayoade206@gmail.com) 09036380331 , all I want is to go back to school preferably Oriwu College Ikorodu and not physical cash” The young lad solicited.
