A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chief J. S. Okutepa (SAN) has tongue-lashed the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for what he rolled out as achievements after three and half years in office.
His words, “Why are some persons in govt always defending bad policies of govt. Where has the consciences of these people gone to.
“When I saw one Kingsley Fanwo said to be spokesperson of governor of Kogi State defending bad governance in Kogi state and reeling out fake achievements of the government of Kogi State, I weep for those of us from that state.
“How does buying Prado Jeep for judges for instance translates to an achievement.
“What is prado jeep for judicial officers. We need to do something in Kogi before the situation completely gets out of hands.
“That State is blessed with great men and women of quality but we are being led by our least endowed personalities whose ability for leadership is laden with mediocrity.
“It is sad that Kogi state in the mist of waters of quality men and women is thirsty in leadership. Are we really cursed in that state or what. What achievements can we see in that state.
“We must demand for true democracy in Kogi state not anarchy and authoritarianism and thuggish style of governance being witnessed daily.
“Go to the state and do a fact finding and it will amaze you the level of intolarable mis-governance in state.
“The foundation of every good governance has been destroyed almost irredeemables.
