Crisis rocks Kogi Assembly.

The Kogi State House of Assembly is presently facing a serious crisis following an alleged misconduct of a member representing Ajaokuta state constituency, Hon. Abdullahi Bello Balogun in the floor of the House on Wednesday.
Our reporter reliably gathered that the Clark of the House, Alhaji Isah Amoka had made a proclamation in the floor of the House over the unavoidably absent of the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole who was in Abuja for an official assignment.
However, Hon. Abdullahi Bello Balogun who is the Majority Leader of the House was said to have counter the proclamation made by the clerk of the House, saying that the Speaker must come to the floor of the House and explain himself.
The situation was however brought under control as members of the house said they were aware of the official engagement of the speaker.
Our reporter findings gathered that the majority leader is not happy with the Speaker’s presidential campaign tour for the governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for 2023 presidential election.
It was alleged that the majority leader is presently working with the majority leader of Kaduna state House of Assembly for the presidential ambition of the Kaduna state governor, Mallam El Rufai for 2023 presidential race.
All effort to speak with the majority leader proved abortive as he could not be reached by our reporter.
