The news of the students of Kagara kidnapped by the bandit sadden the heart of Nigerians. Nigerians is facing lots of security challenges right now.
The students and teachers of the Government Science Secondary School in Kagara, headquarters of Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State, were said to have been attacked by unknown gunmen at about 2am today, Wednesday 17th February, 2021. It was reported that the gunmen shot into the air sporadically before leaving with the kidnapped victims.
One student of the school sadly lost his life after he was shot by the bandits for attempting to escape.
The principal of the school, Mr Aliyu reveals how the attacked on the school happened, according to him. He said that the bandits came to the school with full force and came to his office to led them to the school hotel. On getting there to instructed the student not to run that they were soldiers and they mean no harm.
He explain that they were dressed in Army camouflage while one was in black dress. They started shooting shooting sporadically which got the student scared and some of the students managed to run into the bush.
However, the bandits chased after the student who tried to escaped but in the process, one of the student whose name is Benjamin Doma was hit by the bullet and died instantly. He also revealed that some of the bandits dressed in the school uniform and the security personnel failed to respond to the issue on time.
