About 441 Special Constabulary Police Personnel have been recruited by the Kogi State as directed by the federal government
The Kogi State governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Saturday Inspected the 441 Special Constabulary Police personnel after successful training at the Nigerian Police Training College, Ilorin, Kwara State.
During the inspection by the Governor in Government House, Lokoja, the State Security Adviser, Commodore Jerry Omodara (Rtd) said the Special Constabulary Police personnel are to assist law enforcement agencies in community policing, intelligence gathering and maintenance of law and order in their localities.
