The Kogi State Forum of Political Office Holders 2012-2016 under the administration of Capt. Idris Wada have described the mischievous and malicious thought of people who hate the state, asking that the N5B palliatives for states not to be released for Kogi State as inhuman and wicked of those making the suggestion.
In a statement signed by Hon. Sadiq Abubakar Ainoko Sadiq, former Commissioner For Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and Barr. Kayode Olowomoran, Former Commissioner For Culture and Tourism, the forum expressed implicit confidence in the administration of Gov Yahaya Bello to make judicious use of the resources and for the purposes intended.
While pointing out that the Governor had in the past displayed transparency and accountability in the judicious use of the bailout money to the State, expressed optimism that same would be done with the N5B palliative to the State.
The Forum said the development in the area of infrastructure development across the State is another eloquent testimony that the N5B palliative when released to the State would be use for the purposes, urged the mischief makers not to play politics with the lives of the people.
The Forum expressed confidence that even without the palliative fund, the Gov. Bello’s administration has out in place measures to cushion the effect of the subsidy removal, urged Mr. President to discountenance the satanic thought of never do well political actors trying to put clog in the state’s wheel of development.
The Forum of Oast Political Office Holders 2012-2016, urged Gov. Bello not to be distracted by the rantings of politicians who are already seeing defeat stare them in the face in the forthcoming November governorship election to continue with his good works, by sustaining his people oriented programs for the people.
The Forum called on the political actors who are scared to canvas for votes by telling the people what they intend to do differently, described them as enemies of the people of Kogi State.
