Former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has been nominated as representative from the North Central by the new PDP National Board of Trustees chairman, Senator Adolphus Wabara to reconcile aggrieved members of the party across the country.
The BOT Chairman, Senator Wabara nominated one person from each geopolitical zones in Nigeria to carry out the onerous assignment.
Aside from reconciliation of aggrieved party top notchers and members, the new committee is expected to go around PDP governors across the country on similar assignments.
The BOT Chairman, Senator Adolphus Wabara who is from Abia state commenced the visit from his home state on Wednesday with a visit to Abia state Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu.
The special reconciliation committee will debut Enugu, Rivers, Benue, Oyo and Uyo in Akwa Ibom State.
The former Kogi Governor who is a member of the party’s Board of Trustees BOT is also a member of the PDP National zoning committee charged with both zoning of elective and appointive positions in the party.
He has also served on the special committees of the party at different times in recent times.
The task of reconciliation is to ensure PDP goes into the 2023 general elections with a formidable house to win the forthcoming elections.
