The Commissioner of Police,
CP, Edward Chuka Egbuka,
Nigeria Police Force (NPF),
Kogi State Command,
Congratulations on Your Resumption of Duty as the 36th Commissioner of Police Kogi State Command.
Kogi NGOs Network (KONGONET) is a coalition of Civil Society Networks championing the promotion of participatory democracy, good governance/best practices, accountable governance and network coordination in Kogi State through advocacy and policy influencing for the well-being of Kogites.
We write to congratulate and welcome you on your resumption of duty as the 36th Commissioner of Police Kogi State Command; we are indeed assured that your long years of service with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and more interestingly that you had served here in Kogi State before now gives us that confidence that you indeed understand the terrain of Kogi State and forthwith will sustain and improve the current security situation of the state.
As the apex Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) Network in the state, our interest is to ensure that the wellbeing, lives and property of our citizens are protected at all times and we pursue this with vigour. We wish to commend the entire Nigeria Police Force (NPF) for being proactive most times to protect the lives and property of our people and we encourage more collaboration with stakeholders as the business of securing lives and property is the business of all, though legally coordinated by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF). We are indeed encouraged by your directive to Divisional Police Officers and Area Commanders to shun any form of extortion and human rights abuse in Kogi State.
Kogi NGOs Network (KONGONET) family sends her goodwill message on your resumption of duty as Commissioner of Police Kogi State and wishes you and your team the best of service to the nation and specifically to Kogites.
Accept Assurances of our esteem regards, Idris Ozovehe Muraina
Chairperson, Kogi NGOs Network (KONGONET)
