Impressed by the transformational leadership of his successor, former military administrator of Kogi State, Col Paul U.N.Omeruo has commended governor Yahaya Bello for effective leadership and good governance stating that his administration is poised to actualise the dreams of the confluence state.
Col Omeruo who was the military Administrator of Kogi State From 1993 –1996 gave the commendation while paying a courtesy call on the governor on Tuesday. Col Omeruo disclosed that he was attracted to the governor for his audacious move to fight criminality to a standstill in Kogi, infrastructure development, youths and women inclusion in governance and agricultural development. The former military administrator noted that he deemed it fit to pay the courtesy call on Governor Yahaya Bello on the ground that the state is witnessing significant transformation since he left in 1996.
In response, Governor Yahaya Bello thanked the former military governor for his patriotism and selflessness during his reign in Kogi and for also have the interest of the state at heart. Bello urged the retired military officer to continue to share ideas on security with the government so as to rid the state of bad elements.
