Kogi Governorship election; PDP resolves to continue court case.

The Kogi state people’s democratic party, PDP has reiterated it’s commitment to remain focused, United and undistracted.

The party at the end of it’s state executive committee meeting held on Thursday 4th of June 2020 resolved to continue it’s case at the appeal court with a view to reclaiming it’s mandate freely given by the electorate .

The chairman of the party, Engr Dr Sam Uhuotu who presided over the meeting thanked every member and friends of the party for their loyalty and urged them to stay safe, maintain social distancing and always wash our hands frequently so that we can all witness our inauguration back to Lugard house very soon by the special Grace of God.

The fact finding committee headed by Chief Sam Abenemi submitted an interim report which was accepted. The house now mandated that a white paper committee be put in place to act on the findings . The committee were appreciated for a job well done.

The party berated the ruling party for failing in it’s responsibility to protect it’s citizens and instead choose to play politics with the lives of the people.

A minute silence was observed for our colleagues who lost their lives in the struggle.
