Capt Idris Wada, one of the leading governorship aspirant in the forthcoming November governorship election Kogi State has said within his first one hundred days in office, he will set up a committee to institute power rotation principle in the state.

The former governor disclosed that the principle of power rotation would engender peace and unity, create a sense of belonging, says he is resolute in the principle.

The PDP governorship aspirant made the promise on the side line of the party’s state Congress to elect new state party executives, says the committee would enable smooth transition of power by the various sections of the state.

Capt Wada said the state has lost focus and direction, pointing out that reasons why he throw his hat into the ring to rescue the state from further drift.

The former governor observed that having had the experience, dwindling resources to state would not be a problem to regular payment of salaries, pointing out that as governor he made salary payment his priority.

Capt Wada observed that while in office he concentrated on projects that had direct bearings on the lives of the people, said projects like the Kogi House, Kogi Hotels and others were established by him to enable the state attract revenue to complement the state’s allocation.

He described Alo Cement Company which was began and completed during his administration as some projects the enabling environment he created attracted, said aside employment, the industry is equally attracting revenue to the state.

The Former Kogi State Governor, Capt. Idris Wada has expressed satisfaction with the turnout, expression of support and promises made by delegates of the PDP to deliver him in the forthcoming party’s primaries, described Kogi State as a PDP state.

Capt. Wada assured that the PDP in the state remains united and resolve to take over the reign of government in the November 2019 governorship election in the state.
